Abayas are sized by length.
The number on an abaya is its length in inches, from shoulder to hem, and you choose it from your height. Brands match height to length differently, by as much as a full size, so choose the brand first.

How the length is measured
- Stand straight with your shoes off.
- Measure from the top of the shoulder, beside the neck, straight down to where the hem should fall.
- Between two sizes, take the longer one. It can be hemmed.

Where the tape goes
- Bust: around the fullest point.
- Waist: around the narrowest point.
- Hips: around the widest point. Keep the tape level and relaxed.
Children are sized by weight, then by height.
In the first year weight is the better guide. After that, height. Age is only the label on the hanger.

Take the larger one. Babies grow fast.
Shoes follow the length of your foot.
EU sizes are built on foot length, so a ruler beats guessing from another brand. Where a brand says a pair runs small or large, its product page says so.

How to measure your foot
- Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure from the wall to the mark. Use the longer foot.
Rings. Most rings on NIDWAH are adjustable. Where a ring carries a number, 7 means 17.3 mm across the inside.
